Royal Whims

  • Judith has a 15th century Italo-Burgundian persona, and Gerhardt is a time-traveling Teutonic knight from the Third Crusade. They will conduct themselves with appropriate pomp and authority from these periods. However, they greatly appreciate all efforts of authenticity from members of the populace regardless of what period they may have chosen.
  • During court, attendants should have plenty of water available and offer drinks regularly to Their Majesties between presentations.
  • It is helpful during court to have a person designated as Court Timekeeper to help the proceedings keep moving. If presentations run too long, this person should signal Their Royal Majesties to keep things moving.
  • Court should not be scheduled during Feast if any awards are to be given. A court held during feast is acceptable if it is for presentations only.
  • During feast, please do not place candles in front of or too near either side of the royal couple. This will prevent them tipping the candles over when trying to talk to members of the populace over the table.
  • Please make sure to serve some vegetable dish during feast for Judith.
  • Kingdom business will need to be conducted during the event. Therefore, it would be good if a room could be set aside as a "Royal Room" where Judith and Gerhardt may hold meetings. The room where they will be sleeping can double as this room if sleeping accommodations are not shared. If beds/bunks are not available in the room, 2-4 chairs will be needed, depending on room size.
  • Dancing will occur wherever Judith goes. The universe will implode otherwise...
