Event announcement guidelines

Events must be scheduled on the Kingdom Calendar before the event announcement is sent. This is done through the Chronicler at calendar@drachenwald.sca.org. Deadline for the Dragon's Tale is the 25th of the month that is two months before the issue date (e.g., the December issue deadline is 25 October). It is your responsibility to get the information to the Chronicler.
Please send event announcements in unformatted MS Word or ASCII/text format and preferebly as attachments. Announcements will be standardised and edited for clarity, and will be shortened if they are to long.
The subject in your e-mail should be: DT "name of your event".

Event announcements must include:

Name of official SCA sponsoring group.
Legal name/address of Event Steward(s).
Street address of the site (if no address, you must mention that in the ad).
Date of the event.
Starting/stopping time of the event .
Payment information (if there is a fee).
Name and contact details of Marshal-in-Charge (if there is combat).

You are encouraged to include:

Reservation deadlines, if any.
URL for the t full announcement including directions to the site.
Restrictions, if any (pets, open fires, alcohol).
