What is SCA?


The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international organization dedicated to researching and recreating pre-17th-century European history. Please read Life in the Current Middle Ages which is a small introduction to the SCA.

What is Drachenwald?

The Kingdom of Drachenwald is a regional group within the Society for Creative Anachronism. The Kingdom of Drachenwald covers most of Europe and South Africa.


How do you become a member?

There are membership forms that you can download and print from the Member Services at the SCA www page.
You can also contact the Kingdom Chatelaine. The Chatelaine's job is to help new members, and he/she can probably help to answer most of your questions.

There are many groups in Europe, Middle East and Africa, please have a look at the local group listing to find a group close to you.
